Origins, known for its natural-based skincare products, has a new lip color brand, Blooming Lips — and it is the company’s first makeup launch in five years.

Origins’ two new lip color products are Blooming Bold Lipstick, available in 24 shades, and Blooming Sheer Lip Balm, in eight colors.

The decorative packaging has a modern look, and features an abstract “blooming flower” pattern. The design is printed on the lipstick case’s white cap — in a color that matches the lip color inside the package.

Origins’ logo is printed on the top of the cap, also to match the product color. The bottom part of the lipstick case, which holds the bullet, looks like it is decorated with a metallized finish in a bronze-gold shade.

Blooming Bold Lipstick is long-wearing and conditioning. Blooming Sheer Lip Balm is “made with 12 flowers,” the brand states. It delivers a hint of sheer, glossy color, while hydrating the lips.

Both lip color products contain crushed petals, repurposed buttery flower waxes, flower honeys and essential oils. They are formulated without parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, mineral oil, DEA, petrolatum, paraffin, polyethylene beads, and formaldehyde.

Origins’ Blooming Lip Color is available in-store and online at Origins, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Ulta.
